Outstanding customer service, knowledge and expertise. I came in with a possible cavity, they immediately took X-rays and provided a diagnose within 10-15 min. Then did a complete examination and provided other work that may need to be done. I was then able to schedule a follow up visit for the root canal and cap procedure within a week. Great staff, very friendly and not over priced!!

I have very bad anxiety surrounding any dental care and I start crying almost the moment I sit in the chair.Everyone in the office was empathetic towards me . Was a little forceful with the extraction to just get it done. Tried to have a little small talk, but no response. Pretty sure the jaw line was broke a bit from the force. Definitely a divot on the side of the gum where it should not be. He is a busy guy, I get it… Hopefully it heals up ok and doesn’t cause lasting issues. Numbed up and extracted within 3 minutes… Not even exaggerating…

Was a good dentist until I hade second doubt about a root canal I requested to talk to the dentist and the front desk refused to let me talk to them then I decided to cancel the root canal to be able to get more information about it and they then told me that I’m no longer able to go through them and to find a different dentist when I asked on what grounds they said and I quote “that’s what the owner said” so I do not recommend this if u want to actually get all information and feel better about an appointment

I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. Singh works fast. and his prices are reasonable. I know some people like to be pampered and have their dentist spend a long time with them, but that is not necessary to get the job done and the efficient turnover of patients makes the low prices possible. Dr. Singh honors his patients’ preference if there is more than one way to address a problem, which makes patients feel respected.

Receptionist guy really mad at me cuz I want it to reschedule my appointment on a day that I would actually be available at work too much and I go to school and I also take my little ones to school so I’m extremely busy and she didn’t like hearing that after asking me why it was so hard for me to choose a day and come in on time I would always call and reschedule my appointments if I didn’t make them in time or if I knew I wasn’t going to make them that day and I only did it twice and then they canceled on me once and then told me that I would not be able to reschedule any more appointments and that she would let the owners know that I wasn’t allowed to do this and if I didn’t come for my appointment on September 13th 2024 that I would no longer allow to be coming there because I am trying to reschedule for days that I’m actually available to be seen and treated so no I don’t recommend this place for people that are extremely busy and tight on time

I haven’t been to a dentist is a while, since I was in braces. I made an appointment out of the blue because I was in some pain. I had some sensitivity in a couple of my molars on the top. I’m so impressed with how friendly the staff was from reception, to imagining to the Dr. to the hygienist. I absolutely loved the Dr and the hygienist. The Dr, she went pretty fast with putting my fillings in! Super experienced and super nice! I was in zero pain during and after my procedure! I highly recommend Tompkins Dental. I have had the best experience with Dr.Raminder Singh and his staff. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, patient and kind in responding to my questions regarding insurance and anything else. The Technicians are also friendly, patient and very knowledgeable regarding treatment. They have been constantly aware of and concerned with my understanding of what they are doing and my overall comfort. Dr. Singh is also very skilled, knowledgeable and kind. I started a year ago at Tompkins Dental with just basic teeth cleanings and general care. Initially I had read some bad reviews for Tompkins Dental and I must admit I went to them with some trepidation. I have Dental Insurance through my husband work at Cornell, it is Emblem health and it is the worst dental coverage I have ever had in my 23 years of marriage and living in multiple states across the US with various forms of dental coverage. I moved to Ithaca area 6 years ago and have struggled to find competent dentists that I feel safe with in this area that will take my insurance and are considered In-network. It has been just short of a nightmare for me and my family. Finally giving Tompkins dental a chance was the best decision I could have made regarding my dental care. I just had a crown replacement. Dr.Singh is masterful at giving novacane. I felt almost no pinching and it was fast and effective. My new crown is comfortable and beautiful. You can’t tell it’s not my natural tooth. I only wish they were also a pediatric office. Then I wouldn’t have to travel to Endicott for my little kids dental care. Please forgive my emotional review. Tompkins Dental is wonderful!

Phone/text/email alerts get even the most ADHD amongst us to their appointments. When you get there, they know you by name. The waiting room is comfy with daytime talk shows on the TV — but you hardly spend any time actually waiting. Once you get to your station they get right to working on you. Everyone is super sweet and patient to make sure your procedure goes quickly and with minimal discomfort. I’m grateful for how extra fastidious Dr. Singh has been when numbing to work on my lower back teeth due to my somewhat atypical innervation.

I was worried when first going because I have had some bad experiences in the past at other Dentist but soon as I walked in everyone was extremely nice. The Dentist did a great job fixing my tooth/filling that had broken off. The dentist and her assistant did a great job explaining to me what they were doing ahead of time, I felt very comfortable. The folks here were professional and efficient. I was in and out in less than half an hour for x-rays, cleaning, and a quick consult. Wound up getting a filling replaced later in the same day due to a cancellation, and that was over and done with in even less time than the cleaning. They asked detailed questions and listed to what I had to say, too: it didn’t feel like a clunky conveyor belt, but a well-oiled system. Precise is the a that comes to mind. Perfect for my needs: quick visit with careful work done.

Broken tooth pulled. Cracked because of cancer treatments. Dr. R. was efficient- he numbed me with Novocaine before I really had time to register there was a needle in his hand. The pull was a little traumatic as the tooth (firmly ensconced rear molar) continued to crack under pressure. Only thing I would recommend is taking time to talk with the patient about what to expect after a pull doesn’t go as planned. My gums needed to cut in order to free the tooth; and, once the Novocaine wore off, I was in agony – Well beyond Tylenol pain. Sending me off with gauze and fuzzy instructions are great… but 2 higher dose pain killers would have been even better. I spent half the night trying to find old pills from a previous surgery just to stop from crying. Overall, though, a solid dental practice. Would recommend for continued dental care.

We have been coming to this practice since my kids were little. We have always been pleased with the experience. Staff members are always friendly and professional. They are responsive and patient we mention that we are having anxiety or pain. It would be nice if people could identify themselves and their roles upon entering a room. Ex:” I am Jen and I will be taking your X-rays today”. Overall good experience.

I usually have an excellent experience at this office. However, this time was very unpleasant. The staff were unpleasant, when I addressed discomfort due to over applied pressure it took me asking multiple times for them to finally address my discomfort, and I had to follow up on a referral they were to make over six months ago, for the third time! Overall my time spent in the office this time was far from enjoyable.

I felt the staff was in a rush with my X-rays. Very rough with my mouth. The dentist spent maybe 2 minutes tops with me. Unfortunately its the only local place that accepts my insurance. Also they didnt ask any questions reguarding if i have any issue or concerns any medical problems or even tell me their names of the assistant taking care of me. And leggings and short shorts are not really professional.

I came in with alot of pain in in my teeth. Everyone from the receptionist to the xray tech the hygienist and dentist was so nice and caring. I had to have an extraction which was difficult for everyone but we did it am home recoverying with some swelling and soreness but i think it will heal up soon. I do need more work done but i know am in good hands. I would recommend anyone.

My experience is always great with Dr.Singh and his team. Minimal wait times, fast and comprehensive service. I had an appointment to get a tooth extracted and I was there less than 20 minutes. Dr.Singh and his team are very friendly and make you feel comfortable, if you are having anxiety just be sure to explain it and they will be able to help make you feel even more comfortable.
